Wild imagination...:)
I am writing an article for one of the national newspapers about my recent trip in Portugal and Spain...I have been writing articles inspired by my travels in the last couple of years...
And the thing that i love the most about writing these articles is that you can escape with your wild imagination and put those thought on paper.
Here is a part of it...the Lisbon part...
And then, when the bus reached the top of the hill, slowly getting out from the traffic mess, we reached the Lisbon bridge, which is one of the most beautiful places on earth for me, having a flashback, going "back to the future". In that moment, the live colors in my eyes started to change in the typical brown-orange color of the past...just like in the movies about 15th-16th century. Passing the bridge, seeing parts of the old Lisbon, i started to imagine the big sails on the ships, that are arriving from across the ocean, thousands of people waiting for their love ones to return from the trips...To share with them the discoveries of new nations and civilizations, discoveries of new territories...Drawing together the map of the world, that in those times, they still believed that the world is flat. still feeling in the air, the enthusiasm of discovering the world, the old sea sailing tradition. To taste the adventure of going across the world, not knowing if you will ever get back and inform the rest about what is going on there... Imagining Vasco De Gama(discovered the way to India in 1498) or Pedro Alvarez Cabral(discover the way to Brazil in 1500)...To imagine how would it be to be part of their cruise....interesting, letting your imagination go wild...how wild is your imagination????
how often do you let your mind fly away???

Vasco de Gama was one brave man - akin to those men who went to the moon.
